2006
31 January, MV ‘Ece’ sinks following a collision with ‘General Grot Rowecki’ in the North East bound shipping lane NW of Guernsey, 22 lives saved by lifeboat (10) and helicopter (12).
2008
June 24th, the relief St Peter Port Lifeboat, ‘Roger and Joy Freeman’ on exercise, is called to perform the very first rescue activated by ‘MOB Guardian.’ – a satellite based automatic and confidential alarm system. Three fishermen from the MV ‘Guyona’ of Brixham are quickly found safe in a life raft south of Sark.
Sept. 18th the station lifeboat ‘Spirit of Guernsey’ returns to Guernsey after a 13 month refit. Two days later she is damaged during a rescue of two French yachts on rocks to the South of Sark and has to return to UK for further relatively minor repairs.
October 5th The relief St Peter Port Lifeboat, ‘Roger and Joy Freeman’ intervenes to tow the Swedish Sailing school ship ‘Alva’ with 40 on board to safety following attempts by the Jersey Tug and Lifeboat and French ‘Abeille Liberte’.

2010
RNLB Spirit of Guernsey returns to Poole for minor hull repairs and fitting of new 5 bladed propellers.
2011
June 15th. In the Queen’s Birthday honours, an MBE for Buz White, coxswain of the Guernsey lifeboat for services to the St John Ambulance and Rescue Service and the RNLI.
2012
The Queen’s Birthday honours. John Bougourd, past coxswain of the Guernsey lifeboat is awarded the British Empire Medal for services to Sark and the RNLI
2014
May 15th. The St Peter Port lifeboat Spirit of Guernsey carries the Queen’s Baton around the Bailiwick in its tour around the Commonwealth. Crew member Chris Harvey has the honour of landing the baton ashore in Herm.
June 8th. RNLB Spirit of Guernsey goes for major refit, including engine replacement. She is replaced on station by Daniel L Gibson which is called into action for a medical case in Herm within hours of being on station
2019
4th July. The Elizabeth and Margaret Milligan, B-889 a B Class Atlantic 85 type Inshore rescue lifeboat comes into service at St. Peter Port.
