The RNLI recently announced that it’s moving to an opt in approach to communicating with its supporters. It’s important that the RNLI records supporters’ preferences because from 1st January 2017, the charity will only contact people if they have given their express permission for us to do so. We’re asking people if they would be happy to be added to the mailing list for information by post and email from their local RNLI group.
