On Sunday 3rd June 2018
1707 A call was received at JESSC, from the yacht “Pearl”, anchored in Icart bay, that they had lost all electrical power, were unable to start their engine, and not confident that they could sail back to St Peter Port.
An all ships was put out by the Duty Coastguard Operator at JESSC requesting assistance for this yacht, unfortunately, no one was able to assist; so the Lifeboat “ The Spirit of Guernsey “ was tasked to go to the yachts aid.

Guernsey’s Lifeboat Spirit of Guernsey towing the local yacht Pearl back to Port after it lost all Power was anchored close to the shoreline in Icart Bay off the South coast of Guernsey.
